We are honored to have Chief Emilio Perez from The Special Agent Group, LLC. with us as our September Luncheon speaker.

The rising numbers of Active Shooter attacks are staggering. This luncheon teaches more on how you as an individual should respond when there is an active shooter in your vicinity.

As an organization or a Risk Professional, there is a duty of care to maintain a safe environment for your employees and visitors. In an event of an active shooter attack, an organization could be held liable.

Emilio Perez
Chief Law Enforcement Officer - The Special Agent Group
Chief Emilio Perez has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and private corporate security. He served with the Los Angeles Police Department for over 20 years and had several special assignments, such as Head of the Olympic Village in 1984 that prepared him for his role as Chief of Police.

Prior to Kroll he was the Chief of Police for two California cities. As Chief of Police he addressed several challenges that dealt with personnel, crime, labor unions, and homeland security.

Prior to joining The Special Agent Group, Chief Perez was the Director of Investigation for Kroll Inc. where he provided a broad range of professional services to law firms and corporations nationally and internationally. The services consisted of executive security protection and assessment for businesses and home locations, travel planning, and liaison with law enforcement officials to facilitate the client's goals. His assignments have included working as a liaison with Mexican government officials to facilitate clients conducting business in Mexico, recovery of property, locating individuals, safe travel assistance, and liaison to movie companies filming in Mexico. Mr. Perez is fluent in Spanish and English.
