Pandemics & Zika - How Risk Managers Can Respond

Nancy Green, Executive Vice President, Aon Risk Solutions

Nancy Green has been with Aon since December, 1986. In her role as Global Client Promise Leader for Aon Risk Solutions (ARS), she has global responsibility for the way in which ARS colleagues serve clients. In her role as Strategic Account Manager, she works in a hands-on role as a national resource assisting client service teams in bringing solutions to Aon's largest accounts, and she helps coordinate delivery of Aon products and resources to support those solutions. In addition, she helps facilitate the quick exchange of market intelligence across the network of Aon offices so that Aon can learn about something impacting one large account and immediately proactively assess whether other large accounts might have similar situations. She is also leader of Aon's Infectious Disease Response Task Force as well as thought leader for Aon's approach to Black Swan Event Response and Preparation consulting.

Evaluating and Explaining TBI and Concussion Claims

Jeffrey M. Lenkov, Partner, Manning & Kass

Jeffrey M. Lenkov is nationally recognized by many as the lawyer to hire when faced with high stakes litigation. Fortune 500 companies regularly seek out Mr. Lenkov as their choice of counsel for "bet the house" litigation. He is an equity partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass. He leads the firm's Entertainment Law; Professional Sports Law; and Retail, Restaurant, and Hospitality Teams. Mr. Lenkov is a certified players' agent with the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA). He represents athletes and sports announcers. Mr. Lenkov is sought by various news media as their go-to on-air legal analyst. He often
serves as a legal advisor to numerous television productions.

Mr. Lenkov has spent more than two decades litigating on behalf of prominent domestic and international companies, business owners, professional sports franchises, world class athletes, celebrities, and international sports agencies. He regularly defends claims in state and federal court involving labor and employment, copyright, trademark, contracts, food-borne illness, and significant injury tort claims involving wrongful death. Mr. Lenkov has overseen product recalls. He has also successfully served as lead counsel in several class action lawsuits arising under FACTA, CLRA, and wage and hour claims. Mr. Lenkov's food
borne illness work includes management of national food recalls.

Sevan Gobel, Partner, Manning & Kass

Sevan Gobel is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Manning & Kass. He specializes in civil litigation defense, including products liability, premises liability, business litigation, consumer protection litigation, sports law, wrongful death, construction defect, toxic torts, and writs and appeals. Mr. Gobel handles complex and high exposure cases in both state and federal courts for prominent national and international clients. He has successfully arbitrated and mediated numerous cases and has obtained successful results in summary judgment motions, trials and appeals. Mr. Gobel is a graduate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Los Angeles Chapter's Trial School. He is admitted to the California State Bar and to the U.S. District Court in the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Mr. Gobel is an adjunct associate professor of law at Southwestern University School of Law, where he teaches sports law. He holds his BS in business administration and accounting (1999), and his JD from Southwestern University School of Law (2002). During law school, he was a member of the Southwestern Law Review and served on the Board of Governors for the Moot Court Honors Program, where he competed in national competitions. Mr. Gobel served as the president of the Armenian Law Student Association. He received the John J. Schumacher Leadership Program scholarship and the Moot Court Honors Program scholarship.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Gobel served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dikran M. Tevrizian, United States District Court, Central District, and the Honorable Erithe A. Smith, the United States Bankruptcy Court,
Central District of California.

Prepare U: Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Be Informed - Earthquake Preparation Tips from the American Red Cross

Naomi Goldman, American Red Cross and Principal at NLG Communications

Naomi Goldman is Principal of NLG Communications, an LA-based strategic communications firm with expertise in crisis/risk/issues management. She has helped organizations prepare for and navigate complex, often-high profile crises including train collisions, active shooter events, public health outbreaks, labor disputes, data breaches, investigations, natural disasters and media attacks. Her clients have included Metrolink, California Dept. of Health Services, Los Angeles Unified School District, Safeway, Anthem Blue Cross, Universal Studios, UCLA, American Red Cross and the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. She lectures on crisis/risk management at UCLA and USC, serves on the Board of Directors of the Business & Industry Council on Emergency Planning and Preparedness and is a Disaster Preparedness Educator and Strategist for American Red Cross.

Paul Motekaitis, Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo Insurance Services

Paul Motekaitis and his team joined Wells Fargo Insurance in 2004. Currently, Paul is a Senior Vice President in the Private Client Risk Management group where he and his team focus on working with Private Clients to implement a comprehensive personal insurance program. Paul focuses on a holistic approach to personal insurance catering to high and ultra -high net worth individuals. His team looks at all aspects of risk from multi-million dollar homes, exotic automobile collections, yachts, planes, jewelry, and fine art; from personal liability to director's and officer's liability. The dedicated risk management team structures insurance programs around the client's needs, exposures and risk tolerance. Each client has a tailored insurance program suited for their specifications. Paul and his team are part of the Wealth Management process as it relates to providing insurance, risk management guidance and yearly reviews for clients.
