Society Dues Waivers
The RIMS Board of Directors has waived Society dues for:

  • Student members (must be full-time college/university students majoring in majoring in risk management, insurance, business, finance or management with an emphasis in risk management and/or insurance and not eligible for membership in another category)

  • Affiliate members (must have been a Deputy member within the past two years and now out of a job)

RIMS wants to provide support and ongoing access to member resources – including our Career Center, e-Groups, professional development classes, etc – to those impacted by the current economic downturn.  For those who qualify and wish to update their status to waive their membership dues when renewing (prior payments will not be refunded), they can email their request to RIMS National at membership@RIMS.org. In addition, the Los Angeles Chapter will also waive Chapter dues under these circumstances.
