Job Description:

The Risk Manager is responsible for the overall management of the claims and insurance program for IMT.  The Risk Manager will identify and assess potential risks and support the management of those risks consistent with the company's overall risk strategy. The Risk Manager will work with all levels of management and colleagues within the company as well as insurance brokers and carriers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the risk management process for the organization
• Manage the Risk Management Analyst and Risk Management Coordinator
• Manage and oversee the handling of all claims including general liability, property, workers' compensation, EPL, E&O, etc. along with all incidents reported to the department
• Oversee third party administrator (TPA) and outside counsel
• Maintain a record of insurance policies and assist the AVP in procuring policies
• Assist the AVP in procuring policies by preparing insurance applications
• Review contracts and agreements (leases, suppliers, customers, and services) to ensure insurance adequacy and indemnity provisions are acceptable
• Prepare, analyze and distribute reports looking for patterns and recommending solutions to mitigate or prevent situations from occurring
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in risk management
• Bachelor's degree required, ARM certification a plus
• Good working knowledge of general property, workers' compensation, and related laws and regulations
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team with a customer service orientation
• Excellent judgement and discretion
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
